Tim KimmelPresumptuous Believers

I have no doubt that God cares about how we feel. His Word says that he does (1 Peter 5:7; Matthew 6:25-34; Revelation 7:17, 21:4). But does God care about what we think? If we're not willing to align our thinking with His clearly stated truth, then it's pretty obvious from the Bible that He could care less what we think.

Love, Darcy

I was wondering if I was the only one who saw the disconnect as I walked out to get into my car. Passing the mannequin and eye-catching display table just outside the door of the boutique located in the gym, I had to smile to myself.

What Others are Saying

We love to hear how the message of grace based relationships has transformed lives! This is what a few folks have said...

Just couldn't hold this in any longer. I discovered your book Grace Based Parenting and through God's truth and your writing, I am a changed person and a different mom. I spent way too long being angry and disappointed with my kids because they didn't fit the perfect "Christian" mold. The more I controlled them, the more they rebelled. Thank God he got my attention when they were still young. Your book helped me love my kids again!

When my friend told me Tim Kimmel was speaking at their church on Sunday, I got all giddy. His book, Grace Based Parenting, is the BEST book any parent could read. I recommend you buy 20 copies and give them as baby gifts or wedding gifts. The sermon convicted me so much with how I parent. I need to be parenting my children with how God parents me. How does he parent me? With absolute LOVE and PATIENCE. He doesn't shake me and beat me. He doesn't scream at me. He doesn't make me feel stupid. He loves my unique and weird qualities. And I can be pretty weird!! :) He listens to me and doesn't respond with condemnation. He sees my inner beauty (not outward). The list goes on and on. My mom and dad have read Tim Kimmel's grandparenting book, and mom says she wishes she could have known these things earlier when raising us.

We’d loved to hear how God is working in your family. Go to our Feedback Form and let us know how God's grace has transformed your family.
